The number of rare plants in Mount Huangshan around the country is not more than 7000.-diamondprox

Around Mount Huangshan, there are no more than 7000 rare plants, elephant orchid. The rare orchid plant of China is found in China, and a new distribution has been found in Mount Huangshan. Learned from the Anhui Provincial Academy of Forestry Press, experts in our province in the Mount Huangshan scenic area surrounding the plant recently found new nothodoritis population distribution. Elephant nose orchid is sixth national minimal species protected species discovered in recent years in China. It has been sporadically discovered in Zhejiang, Shaanxi and Gansu, and the number of population in the country is no more than 7000. Nothodoritis appeared in the ancient ginkgo trees purple flowers arranged in clusters, a column with a hook head, curled like elephant nose…… This is the elephant trunk, even in the trees and the jungle, still beautiful. As a rare and rare orchid in China, the elephant nose blue was first discovered by a botanist in Tianmu Mountain in Zhejiang in the 80s. Director, Academy of forestry garden senior engineer Hu Yimin told reporters in September 23rd, in May of this year, Anhui Province rare plant survey work coordination meeting, medicinal plant classification expert Professor Wang Dequn, Anhui University of traditional Chinese medicine inadvertently revealed that students with early collection of medicinal plant specimens in Mount Huangshan, worked in several strains of the ancient ginkgo tree village on the west, saw a suspected orchid. The news surprised Hu. After the meeting, he immediately contacted Fang Denian, director of the Mount Huangshan arboretum, and Zhang Jianji, a native plant research expert in Mount Huangshan. The morning of June 2nd, Party Denian and Zhang Jianji was in the distal branch near the village in Xi Cha two tall ginkgo trees to see the blooming orchid. It is the elephant nose blue that has been identified by experts. It is expected that Hefei will grow into a "small population", which means the risk of extinction at any time, and that the general population is not more than 7000. The reporter learned that the province had already discovered Ulmus, Mount Holyoke, Dendrobium dabeshanensis, p.subaequalis berchemianeck and gross numbers, the largest number of only four thousand or five thousand strains of Ulmus elongata at least only about 50 plants. According to Hu Yimin, it is extremely difficult to calculate the number of plants precisely because the elephant trunk is parasitized on large trees. At present, there are 4 large trees that have been found in our province, with a total of dozens of trees. Prior to Zhejiang Tianmu Mountain, artificial pollination has been successful, and the Southern China botanical garden "test tube childcare" has also been declared successful. Hu Yimin, Zhang Jianji in recent years will be blown storm on the branches nothodoritis seedlings, transplanting in Jade Valley camphor, persimmon, Pistacia chinensis, has been successful. Hu Yimin introduced several elephant trunk orchids to Hefei for tree bark suspension cultivation last year. It has also been tested this year’s extreme low temperature and continuous high temperature and drought, and is expected to take root, grow and bloom in Hefei. "The State Forestry Center is located in Hefei high-tech Dayang store, also began to try nothodoritis tissue culture." Hu Yimin said that the elephant nose orchid is very beautiful, through a series of efforts, the next three to five years, it is expected to walk into the common people’s home. In June 5, 2009, Chen Longfei, a senior engineer in Yixian County Forestry Bureau, once photographed the whole plant and ecological photos of elephant trunk orchid in the five hills, which was adopted by the Chinese plant image library. It is also the earliest discovery of elephant orchid in our province. In mid June 2013, a donkey friend in the walnut tree trunk of a valley in Jingzhou at the foot of the cool peak of Jixi saw a small red flower bush. Through the field investigation of local forestry workers, Hu Yimin decided that these little flowers were the elephant trunk. In June 3, 2013, the Mount Huangshan arboretum director Fang Denian in the Mount Huangshan scenic area near Zhuxi, a bitter plant Sophora japonica and Pistacia trees, also found nothodoritis. For the protection of the population, the discovery has not been released. Original title: the rare plant elephant nose orchid is found around Mount Huangshan. The number of the country is not more than 7000!
